CLIENT BRIEF

The client wanted an incentive event that could be reached within 2 hours of their Munich office. Their preference was to travel sustainably and to involve their team in inclusive activities. A gala dinner was required for the event's last night.

PLANNING

We proposed two German destinations in Tegernsee and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Our suggestion, though, was to cross the Austrian border and experience the drama and style of Kitzbühel, or the incredible city of Innsbruck, offering thrilling activities and culture. The client chose Innsbruck due to its diverse offerings and rail connections to Munich.

THE EVENT

  • We were able to take the group from Munich centre to Innsbruck centre by direct train.
  • The Innsbruck hotel was ideally located in central Innsbruck, with walkable landmarks such as the Old Town, main train station and nightlife.
  • We started the event within an hour of arrival with a short mountain walk to a stunning restaurant in the forests above Innsbruck.
  • Evening dinner was taken at a fantastic Italian restaurant, which was reached on foot from the hotel. Fine wines, northern Italian cuisine, and live music made for a memorable evening.
  • The client has a robust inclusivity policy, so we had to arrange a wide range of activities. Activities included cultural tours of central Innsbruck, as well as canyoning and white-water rafting outside the city.
  • The final night was spent at the Bergisel Ski Jump. We had professional ski jumpers giving talks to the group before launching off the 90m jump. Dinner was taken on the top of the ski jump, followed by a dance party overlooking the city.
