The Arlberg winter arrives right on cue

Where there were golden yellow leaves and long sunny days just over a week ago there are now snow drenched peaks and an avalanche 3 warning to confirm that winter has officially arrived in the Austrian Arlberg.

With the lifts set to roll later this week (4th December) in St Anton, St Christoph, Stuben, Lech-Oberlech-Zürs and Warth the snow Gods couldn't have timed it better. There is snow and sleet forecast for resort level over the next 2 days followed by sunny conditions - hopefully lasting until the opening weekend. With lifts running until the 24th April there is a whole lot of skiing ahead of us all in this classic region of world skiing.
