It barely needs stating but Solden will also bring in the new winter season with the first official apres ski opening of the season - the Alps will be well and truly rocking for the weekend. The very best racers on the FIS circuit will be getting their first points of the winter campaign and for those able to get to Solden, the excellent Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers high above Solden should be serving up some great early season skiing and snowboarding. VIP tickets are available for those looking to make the event part of a ski trip with seats in the stadium above the finish line and food and drinks laid on the stadium entertainment areas. Down in the valley there are public concerts and some of the best apres ski in the Alps. Solden with its growing range of modern and upmarket hotels offers some great hospitality and spa facilities for those looking to unwind after the race, the skiing or the apres.
