EXPLORE THE STUPENDOUS HORIZON FROM THE AIR

In an age where flying is usually associated with confiscated toiletries and queues, scenic flights are the ideal tonic to re-acquaint clients with the joys of flight. Whether fixed wing or rotary, these machines can uncover the vast scale and geological marvels of some of Europe’s most spectacular ranges.

Ideal for non-skiers attending corporate ski events, scenic flights are a high-impact activity that can be tailored to the client’s needs. The photo opportunities are immense as clients skim the crevasse-strewn ice fields of the high-alpine terrain.

SCENIC FLIGHT PRACTICALITIES

Fixed wing flights leave from airstrips across the valleys whilst the aerodromes of Les 3 Vallées offer stunning, inclined take-offs and landings, over the roof-tops of some of the most prestigious mountain property in the world. Flight paths (within reason) can be tailored to meet the specific corporate ski event requirements.

Helicopter flights offer slightly more flexibility as they can touch down in locations to include lunch or sight-seeing stops. Helicopters are also more of a novelty for most and the views over the ice fields around the Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc are truly jaw-dropping.

SCENIC FLIGHT LOCATIONS

With unrivalled scenery, fixed wing and helicopter flights out of the Chamonix valley are extraordinary. Whilst the views from the Aiguille du Midi are priceless, skimming these iconic granite features and the glaciated ice fields around Mont Blanc, takes experiences to a whole new level.

CHAMONIX-MONT-BLANC

With the highest peak in Austria, the Großglockner, just over a few peaks from Zell am See, a fixed wing flight can leave the watery valley, skim the superb Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and offer an eye full of the Großglockner as it dominates the skyline.
