In the mid-1990s, company directors Michelle and Matthew independently decided that round-the-world flight tickets were the best way to defer our student loan repayments. After spending quality time in Asia, Australasia, and North America, their paths crossed in the events industry in London, where they both worked for First Conferences Ltd - an innovative global conference organiser that became FC Business Intelligence Ltd and is now part of Reuters Events.
A stint in the tourism technology sector in Innsbruck was followed by the establishment of Skiing Austria, which brought leisure clients to Austria's top ski destinations. Several clients booked large-group events, based on their intimate knowledge of the Austrian ski product, and Skiing Austria became Jagged Horizons - an event agency incorporated in 2007.
These days, as many events take place in Berlin and Málaga as they do in Kitzbühel or Chamonix. Jagged Horizons develops authentic, high-quality events that take clients far from their day-to-day experiences, whether on the beach or in the snow. The business is now 100% corporate, with incentives, meetings and offsite events balancing out the winter ski incentives. Developing new event products is a continual process, and we are sure that fresh ideas don't require long-haul travel - Europe has endless treasures on our doorstep.

Since 2007 we have been organising corporate events across Europe. Event formats include corporate ski trips, incentive events, offsite and meeting events, and corporate retreats. Currently, we have hosted over 500 corporate events.
Our winter events are almost all hosted in Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland. We offer fantastic incentives, offsite and meeting events in the Alps once the snow is gone.
On flatter ground, we host meetings or incentive events in vibrant cities such as Berlin, Prague, and Lisbon, as well as on the Italian lakes and the stunning coasts of Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
We host corporate retreats for executive groups as small as 10, in magical settings, while our largest incentive events have reached 1000 attendees.
An association of CEO's and HNW individuals approached us for a discreet, sumptuous corporate retreat.
We took them to the magical Hotel Kristinia, Lech am Arlberg, Austria in March 2025.

A global tech firm contacted us to arrange an incentive event for their computer scientists. Based in Munich and Zurich, they wanted an option that was reachable by train.
We proposed Innsbruck because we have a DMC there and know it is a stunning destination.
