HOW DID WE FIND OURSELVES TAKING AMAZING PEOPLE TO REMARKABLE LOCATIONS?

Back in the mid-1990’s company directors, Michelle and Matthew independently decided that round-the-world flight tickets were the best way to defer our student loan repayments. Several years later and after quality time spent in Asia, Australasia and North America, our paths would cross in the events industry in London.

A stint in the tourism technology sector in the Alps was followed by the establishment of Skiing Austria, bringing leisure clients to the best ski destinations in Austria. Over a season we organised several big group events, the penny dropped and inadvertently, we had become an events agency – Jagged Horizons, offering winter ski meetings & incentives.

These days they are in Málaga as often as Kitzbühel or Chamonix – we develop authentic quality events that take our clients far from their day-to-day experiences, whether on the sand or snow. Our business is now 100% corporate, although we often have to offer advice to friends, family and contacts, who are lost in the complexities of group travel!

We really do have to pinch ourselves. We have had enough feedback to trust our ability to deliver outstanding events for our clients. But every time we witness the reaction of our clients, to their time on stunning ocean-side terraces or towering peaks, we feel as rewarded as we did delivering our first event.

We never tire of the immense satisfaction observing an event come together. That may sound a bit gushy, but we are genuinely proud of what we do and work tirelessly to meet client needs. We have developed countless personal and professional relationships through our work - these friendships are a wonderful additional benefit to our day jobs.

As well as our commitment to our clients, we have similar appreciation for our destinations and the wider world. Sustainable events offer the possibility to not only mitigate damage, but promote positive legacies. In many situations they offer the best client experience and we are passionate about this path for the events industry.
