Jaw-droppingly charming, the heart of Lech am Arlberg is centred around a historic church and its adjacent, iconic hotels – places that have welcomed the rich and famous for centuries. Unlike other luxury resorts, Lech am Arlberg remains grounded in quality – strict planning laws have ensured that Lech has retained its look and land use over the years.

Dissected by a river, Lech has wonderful promenades, and the pace of life is slow and refined. Orchestral music fills the air, guests dress for dinner and wines are enjoyed on the exclusive terraces of hotels and restaurants.

The side valley of Zug is like a step into another world, its riverbank trail winds through the valley from Lech to the hamlet of Zug, whilst beyond is a an absolute rural idyl. The Lech – Warth road is open in summer and offers easy access to the wonderfully scenic Bregenzerwald region, a corner of Austria famous for its cheeses and architectural masterpieces.

In the opposite direction, St Anton is a thriving mountain resort with a large congress centre for meeting events, many resort & mountain-based activities, and a direct rail link to Innsbruck.

Lech am Arlberg is famed for quality gastronomy, with iconic hotels offering grand venues for group dining. Getting dressed-up for dinner is still a very Lech tradition. As well as the quality and tradition of Lech dining, there are more contemporary options for event dining, all with the superb Lech quality and style.

The mountains above Lech am Arlberg offer some superb dining experiences for groups on meeting & incentive events. The mountain huts can be either rustic and charming, or else more cutting-edge. In both cases the scenery and quality are exceptional across the board.

Lech is as refined as it gets in the Alps, and the nightlife in the village is similarly cultured. This is spot to enjoy fine wines with even finer views. Terraces dot the village, and the outdoor ambience is harmonised by the sound of the raging river and the striking of glasses.

Festivals in the village are a great backdrop to the Lech nightlife, including music concerts where the local bands play and the wine and beer flows. Huts in the lower mountains and valleys can also provide a venue for a themed nighttime social event.

The new (2024) Lech am Arlberg congress centre is a game-changing development – an architectural wonder in the heart of the village, just steps from the historic church. Part of a strategic plan to develop Lech as a conference destination, the new centre offers unrivalled quality and experience in the region.

Lech hotels offer a range of smaller, modular venues to host meeting and seminar events, with break-out sessions in the pristine alpine air, accompanied by jaw-dropping views.

St Anton am Arlberg is located a short drive from Lech am Arlberg and has a large congress centre which can host conferences. There are additional large facilities in Innsbruck. As well as the fabulous meeting event facilities located in Lech, a meeting event will be accompanied by superb service and excellent dining options.

Outside of the main meeting event sessions, delegates will be able to enjoy the activities of the region, both adrenalin-filled, as well as more sedate, inclusive pursuits.

In our hectic, urban lives, it is tough to escape to remote wilds, yet following the river Lech for the village centre and heading upstream, it is possible to reach the wilds of Vorarlberg in just a short time.

The walk is flat and thus ideal for all event participants and offers a stop at the Gasthaus Älpele for mountain food with sumptuous views.
