The combined Cervinia – Zermatt ski area is an intermediate skier’s paradise with huge terrain to explore. In the Cervinia ski sector, the terrain consists of wide intermediate cruisers around Plan Maison and the ever-present Matterhorn peak.

Cervinia hosts numerous great mountain huts, offering dining on scenic terraces beneath the Matterhorn. DJs play as soon as the plates are cleared and the run back to the resort is stacked with bars and restaurants.

There are options for the routes back to the resort, but the blue piste is an easy slope back to the resort. The piste eventually finishes at the beginner’s ski area in the resort centre. It is also possible to download using the gondola from Plan Maison.

At the village level, many kick off their skis and loosen the ski boots for some après ski. There are numerous riverside and slopeside bars in this area.
