A culinary journey at Porsche Castle, Zell am See, Austria

Schloss Prielau (locally known as 'Porsche Castle') was officially documented for the first time in 1425, acquired by the Porsche family in 1987 and after renovation turned into a small luxury hotel.

Surrounded by large grounds with ancient trees, this castle feels as if it belongs to a medieval fairy tale.

Adjacent to the Castle is the Restaurant MAYERS.  Andreas Mayer has established the pinnacle of dining in Austria.  Mayer loves to play with aromas and his dishes look like art, and one of the highlight moments of the dining experience is his unique olfactory sensory exploration prior to enjoying his dishes.

Accolades include * Restaurant of the year 2011 for Austria * 2 stars Guide Michelin * Trophé Culinaire for the most creative kitchen in Austria 2010.
