Does Morzine-Avoriaz have it all?

We are just back from a superb event in Morzine-Avoriaz. Client feedback was impressive and we have been reflecting on why this destination ticks so many boxes.

Massive skiing

Part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski region which straddles France and Switzerland, any km-hungry group will be more than satisfied with the range and diversity of the 650km skiing on offer.

Serious snowfall

It was a poor start to the season across the entire European mountain ranges but Morzine-Avoriaz was making up for lost ground during the event with thigh-deep powder skiing reported. Historically Avoriaz is rated as having the highest snowfall accumulation of any French ski area.

Authentic, pulsating village

Morzine exudes traditional charm and style. The resort is entirely low-rise, pretty and has a great atmosphere in the numerous bars and restaurants that line its streets.

Fantastic transfer

As transfers go they really can't get too much shorter than Geneva to Morzine-Avoriaz, at about 1hr 15m. Short transfers can make short stay trips feel so much longer.

If you can get out to Morzine-Avoriaz right now there are epic conditions available. If not then seriously consider this place for a group event - it scores big on the key components.
