White fingered, triangular-torsoed men and women from all nationalities mingled with the more sedate visitors to Innsbruck for this springtime climbing carnival. Located on the banks of the river Inn, the climbing wall and hospitality area offered great views of the action whilst the Innsbruck backdrop is really something to behold. Whilst many of the ski areas around Innsbruck are closed for the summer, the city is still a magnet for visitors with the spectacular setting and historic centre rarely matched anywhere.
