Kitzbühel: Corporate Alpine events on a scale to rival the mountains

There are many fantastic resorts for holding corporate Alpine events, but when it comes to large groups, there are few places better than Kitzbühel!

With an array of quality hotels and big capacity venues, plus the added bonus of easy access to three different airports, this charming Austrian village is the perfect destination for a whole company getaway.

Staying in Kitzbühel

As one of Austria's most lavish resorts, Kitzbühel has such a vast range of fine hotels that it is hard to single out particular ones! However, our personal list of recommendations includes the Schloss Lebenberg, for beautiful views from its hilltop location and fabulous spa facilities, or the Hotel Kitzhof, which combines traditional Alpine architecture with funky modern furnishings and enjoys a quiet location close to the village centre.

If you want to be right in the centre of the action, Kitzbühel's attractive medieval old town offers many excellent four star hotels, such as the Zur Tenne or the Tiefenbrunner, which can be combined together to accommodate large groups in a beautiful historic setting.

Dining in Kitzbühel

A team dinner can be a great way to relax with your colleagues after a seminar or a tough day on the slopes, and Kitzbühel offers many suitable dining venues to suit all tastes. For a lively, fun evening there is no better place than Rosi's: a gorgeous mountain alm frequented by the Austrian A-listers, with stunning views and hearty food; and if you're really lucky, your hostess Rosi will even give you a rendition of her wonderful yodelling!

Events in Kitzbühel

For large scale events of all types, we think the K3 Congress Centre, close to the village centre, is the perfect venue: dinners, cocktail parties, concerts and many more can be organised to suit your needs and specifications, and the centre has a wealth of experience in doing so. In addition, the K3 has modern seminar facilities, which can be adjusted to accommodate different groups and session types throughout the day.

Skiing in Kitzbühel

For many (us included), this is the part of the event they are most looking forward to! With over 170km of pistes, even the most advanced skiers can have new adventures, and for those who want to give this great Alpine sport a go, there are professional instructors (and forgiving pistes!) available to give beginners a fun filled introduction to skiing.

In a larger group, there are also undoubtedly some who wish to have some snow fun away from the pistes. As a bigger resort, Kitzbühel offers a wide variety on non-ski activities: tranquil snowshoe hikes to hidden spots on the mountain, competitive team games of the ancient sport Bavarian curling or exhilarating skidoo rides (not for the faint hearted) are all possible and are all fantastic ways to enjoy the mountains without strapping two planks to your feet.
