Málaga – escape to the real Spain

Long overlooked as a mere gateway to the sands of the Costa del Sol, Málaga is one of the most culturally rich and authentically Spanish cities in Spain, and yes it does have fantastic air connections!

Sandwiched between the mountains and the waters of the Mediterranean, Málaga is a truly Spanish outpost amidst the mass tourism of southern Spain. Benefiting from the fantastic air connections which serve the hordes of tourists, Málaga is a breeze to get to. There has been a redevelopment of Málaga marina to include dining and arts facilities, whilst the city centre is awash with art galleries and museums.

We took 130 clients there this month and we gave them a pool party and beach barbeque, to really extract them from their day jobs. The roof top pool was a big hit with views over the mountains to the north and the shimmering waters of the Mediterranean to the south. The city skyline, including the ‘big wheel’, the cathedral and the docks provided a stunning backdrop to the event.
