The pattern of a couple of days of cold sunny weather to be followed by more snow is continuing this week with heavy snow over the eastern Alps - conditions really have been epic in the last month. For those looking for powder then there has been no end to the action and day after day of new snow has brought ample replenishments. Sun worshippers are having a less good February than typical since when the sun has broken through it has typically been pretty frigid. Snow is forecast across the Austrian Alps over the coming days and through the weekend - it isn't clear when it is next forecast to be clear - but then again sun worshippers have the summer months to wrinkle their skin - winter is about getting deep!
