Last week so much snow fell on Fieberbrunn, Austria that much of the resort was inaccessible. Fieberbrunn is well known as the powder playground of the Kitzbuhel region so snow is often abundant but the amounts last week were still impressive. Fast forward a few days and a huge snow system is sitting directly over Austria right now and close to 5 days of unrelenting snow is forecast with national warnings going out of extreme snow falls. All this bodes very, very well for the traditional start of the corporate ski season whish kicks off after the Christmas and New Year madness is over. And with far fewer people on the slopes over the coming weeks the lucky corporate ski groups are set to find fewer tracks in the banks of powder!
