Tomorrow St Anton is hosting another epic event, a the Red Bull Hüttenrallye (Hut Rally) - a ski cross event where competitors ride the roofs of mountain huts as they ski, fly and wrestle their way down the famous St Anton slopes. Last year Daron Rahlves showed the locals and professionals how to ride the course taking the title. Snow is sure to play a part tomorrow with over 5m of snow pack making many mountain hut roofs piste level irrelevancies, although it is likely that the off-ramp is likely to be far less forgiving than the on-ramp. Snow will also be in the air so visibility may not be what it might have been today or yesterday (blues skies and views to the horizon). For those visiting the event, it offers the chance to get close up and personal with some world beating skiers, tackling some epic terrain, in one of the best ski formats for spectators. All this in one of the best ski areas in the world, with apres ski awaiting later that is hard to match anywhere else on the planet.
