For those unfamiliar with Soll, it is a resort located in the centre of the biggest lift-linked ski area in Austria, has legendary apres ski, offers short transfers from Munich or Innsbruck airport and has the Kitzbuhel ski area on its doorstep.
On the slopes
The biggest lift-linked ski area in Austria rises directly above the pretty resort of Soll. The area is ideal for intermediates who want to cover great distances and for those looking for some tougher skiing then Soll has the Hohe Salve peak at the exit point of the main Soll lift system offering the steepest skiing in the region. Just down the valley is Westendorf that is now connected by piste and lift to the Ski Welt and a little further the fantastic Kitzbuhel ski region extends way down to the south to Pass Thurn.
Off the slopes
As well as the legendary apres ski, Soll also offers night skiing just above the resort, husky riding for skiers and non-skiers and toboggan evenings on the trails above the resort. Toboggan evenings are a right of passage for all ski groups with food, drink and music before a night-time descent back down to the resort. These evening often become one of the highlights of a group ski trip.
