Vienna is a city where culture and leisure are in continual view. Palaces and historic sites are on every corner, yet there are islands devoted to water sports, and there is even an artificial surf wave in Vienna. This is a city where event activities range from cultural highlights to thrilling adventures.

Belvedere Palace

Located in Vienna’s central 3rd district, Belvedere Palace is a gem of a venue, with magnificent gardens offering views across the wider city. The ornate gardens are spectacular, offering a place for the crowds to disperse. Event groups can enjoy drinks receptions on the terraces, private tours of the gardens and palace and gala dinners amongst the pomp and splendour of the venue.

Learn to surf

Far removed from the majesty of Vienna’s historic palaces, the city offers a wide expanse of terrain for outdoor activities, including water sports on the Donau Island and mountain sports on the nearby peaks. To the south of the city is an artificial surf wave where groups can learn to surf and host a private beach party.

Pomp on a central tour

Probably the most iconic way to experience the centre of Vienna is on its famous horse-drawn carriages. Vienna's version of New York’s yellow cabs, these carriages trundle through the city centre streets, past Vienna’s finest landmarks. They can be used during an incentive event as a means to get to evening functions and dinners.
