MUNICH CITY
Munich is a fairly spread out city, and walking through Munich will uncover many of the attractions. The central square, Marienplatz dates back to the 12th century and is a focal point for visitors, with bars, restaurants and some of the best historic architecture in Munich. Munich is famous worldwide for the Oktoberfest but offers so much more. MUNICH DINING
Munich offers a wide variety of cuisine, whatever you might fancy from delicious international food, high-end fine dining, to traditional German food – it can all be found in Munich. One highlight that can't be missed is the Vitualienmarkt, which is a food and local producers' market located in the city centre. Over the years it has developed from a typical farmer's market to a hall for special delicatessens, that can't be found anywhere else. It is very famous for its diversity and size of over 22,000 square meters and is heaven for food lovers!
German food is famous in Munich and the Münchner Hofbräuhaus, as well as the Augustiner Keller are the perfect spots to taste this cuisine in its finest setting, in combination with a fresh, cold beer. While these options are the traditional and well known, there are also very special places such as the Broeding, which serves local cuisine with a set menu, and is well worth a visit. For those seeking a particularly good dinner option, Munich has an on the road dinner-hopping, where guests are served Italian, Bavarian or American cuisine from different restaurants, served on an old school bus which is driving around the city.

The nightlife in Munich is vibrant with a wide range of bars and clubs. Naturally, Munich has numerous spots for drinking Bavarian beer, spread around the city, such as the Hofbräuhaus. There is a huge range of bar options in Munich and the atmosphere of the bars differs greatly, with some offering a relaxed evening, whilst others are stylish meeting points for the rich and beautiful.
