Reached from the centre of centre of La Clusaz, the Beauregard area offers a plateau of skiing that is ideal for beginners. Accessed by gondola, the area fans out with mostly gentle, tree-lined slopes.

Moving on from Beauregard by lift and piste, the Etale sector offers a slightly more challenging sector with blues and red pistes and a long blue piste back to La Clusaz centre.

Heading down the valley and higher in terms of elevation, the Aiguille sector offers great piste and off-piste skiing with easier tree-lined skiing and some more exposed, steeper terrain higher up the mountain.

The Balme sector of the La Clusaz ski area offers the most dramatic, highest, and steepest terrain with huge open faces offering some of the best off-piste skiing in the region. Take a guide and ski in Candide’s tracks.
