Two-person, sit-on kayaks are a fantastic way to explore the rugged coastline of the Mediterranean, the emerald, freshwater lakes of the Alps or the rivers of cities and countryside. Kayaking pairs move in larger groups to discover the region from the water and gain a whole new perspective of the terrain while learning elementary watercraft skills.
Working as a team, pairs paddle their way out from shore to small islands, remote coastlines, or secluded coves. Led by guides in boats, the kayakers experience an incredible sense of freedom on the water and see the coast from a whole new angle. Kayak tours can also explore cities and lakes.
Kayaking is a great incentive event activity, allowing novice paddlers to explore the coastline or inland water under their own power. The experience is hugely rewarding and wonderfully serene, with fantastic views looking back onto the land from open water.
No specific experience is required beyond being a competent swimmer and possessing a reasonable fitness level. Cameras can be carried in dry bags, and islands, coves, and sandbanks offer the chance to explore the terrain by boat. Picnics and refreshments can be incorporated into corporate kayak events.
