85km ski circuit in the Arlberg, to test the best ski groups from 2018/19 |

The newly created ‘Run of Fame’ is a monster ski safari that is 85km in length and involves 18km of latitude change, running the full length of the gargantuan Arlberg ski region.

Signposted and sure to be a mighty popular ski safari, the ‘Run of Fame’ has taken the famous Lech Zürs ‘White Ring’ ski loop and stretched it to the north and south. The ski safari is of particular relevance to corporate ski groups who are looking for group challenges on the snow and distant lunchtime meeting points.

Starting in the far south of the Arlberg ski region, at Riffelscharte in the Rendl ski area, the ‘Run of Fame’ reaches the resort of St Anton am Arlberg where the Galzigbahn gondola takes skiers and boarders into the St Anton ski sector. Passing a photo point beneath the Valluga, the next junction is at Stuben am Arlberg where the newly created Flexenbahn link takes skiers into the Zürs ski sector and links them up with the ‘White Ring’ ski circuit via a short ski route.

The epic ‘White Ring’ loop runs via the resort of Zürs to the Madloch-Joch area with its wild scenery and awesome ski route into Zug. Passing beneath the Kriegerhorn and skirting above the resort of Oberlech, the ‘Run of Fame’ reaches Warth, with a run into the resort via Saloberkopf.

Lunch in Warth can be followed by a return leg through the Rüfikopf region of Zürs and the Steissbachtal valley in St Anton. The après ski Mecca, the Mooserwirt lies directly on the home leg for those who want to celebrate the team excursion, or else the Rendlbahn gondola and the Riffel lifts take clients to the embarkation point at the southern end of the Arlberg ski region.

The nature of the ‘Run of Fame’ circuit means that ski group clients can jump on or off the route at multiple points, tailoring their trip to their time and abilities. The photo points are carefully chosen for their spectacular scenery and make for fantastic backdrops for group / team photos. Expect the hashtag #RunofFame to be creating jealous impulses or gloating recaps, throughout corporate offices in the UK, as clients share their experiences of the ‘Run of Fame’.
